Back-to-school drives are usually about getting students ready with the supplies they need. Which is necessary for our growing generation. But doesn’t always create the highest turnout.
And let’s be honest—we can’t blame them. Supplies are essential but not what teens get excited about. Because actually being back on campus is about so much more.
So how did we get 2000 people pumped up about an event like this?
QUINCY’S HOME

Quincy Helsel is a social influencer with over 600,000 followers on TikTok. So he knows a thing or two about what the people need…
So when Quincy went back to his hometown in Denver, the community was buzzing.
The electrified gymnasium looked more like a concert than a school drive.
THE GIVEAWAY
- 150+ Free Haircuts
- 600+ School Bags
- 40+ Basketball Shoes
- 250+ Basketballs
- $1000+ in Prizes
With the backing of TruHeight and because Quincy empathizes with the younger generation in his community—he brought the student body some first-day goodies that don’t always get the attention they deserve.
And the elation was palpable.
Haircuts, shoes and bags – all things kids not only spend their precious dollars on but gets them thrilled about a fresh start too.

FUELING THE NEXT GENERATION

Why do this?
Because fueling the next generation to keep going is why TruHeight was started. Whether it’s a fresh start, a do-over or continuing momentum, Quincy and TruHeight want everyone to feel supported. Especially the communities that helped build us up in the first place.
Sure, that can mean extra pencils so you’re always prepared or a binder that closes properly so you don’t lose homework.
But it can also be that extra boost of confidence you get with a fresh cut.
We’re here for that too.
